Sparta Groves is a Greek food company based in Laconia, southern Peloponnese, created to bring authentic Greek products and selected regional origins to international markets. Today, the company brings together five brands and a portfolio of more than 150 products, covering extra virgin olive oil, olives, vegetables, pasta, wine and selected Greek food specialties.
Our portfolio combines products from our own agricultural activity with carefully selected production from trusted growers, agricultural cooperatives, olive mills, wineries and certified producers across Laconia, the Peloponnese, Crete and other important producing regions of Greece.
A key part of our production base is our close involvement with one of the largest agricultural cooperatives in Southern Greece, representing approximately 3,000 olive growers and operating across southeastern Laconia, in the heart of the Athinolia olive-growing zone. The cooperative produces approximately 15,000 tonnes of extra virgin olive oil annually,providing Sparta Groves with direct access to significant production capacity, regional expertise and strong traceability from grove to bottle.
This structure allows Sparta Groves to offer international buyers a broad range of origins, olive varieties, product categories, packaging formats and price positions, while maintaining consistent standards in quality, traceability and presentation.
Our products are supported by certified production facilities operating under internationally recognised quality and food-safety standards. Depending on the product and production site, our certifications and quality systems include IFS Food, ISO 22000, BIOHELLAS organic certification, AGROCERT certification schemes for protected geographical indications and designations of origin, including PGI Laconia and PDO products, and OU Kosher certification. Our production also follows the applicable requirements for international markets, including FSMA compliance for the United States.
Quality assurance extends beyond certification. For shipments and customer requirements, we can support our products with chemical analysis, organoleptic assessment and polyphenol analysis, carried out by accredited laboratories applying International Olive Council methods. With exports to more than 35 countries, Sparta Groves works with retailers, importers, distributors and food-service professionals looking for reliable access to authentic Greek products through one experienced commercial partner.
